Learning Observed

During iDevelop we are learning to recognise high frequency words. These are important towards developing capable reading and writing skills. When reading the Magenta Word List Level One Rain scored only 1 word from a list of 22 words (I).

Evidence of learning

I wonder if Rain can find “I” or “to” in his home reader? Is he reading and finding the words at the back of his reading book? Is he pointing to the words as he reads?

Key Competencies/Vision Principles

Rain is developing his Capabilities in Reading. He is also beginning to use Thinking,  Language, Symbols and Texts.
